pyrophosphate, Sodium
bicarbonate, cornstarch,
monocalcium phosphate)
Xanthan Gum
Baking Soda
Salt

| DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 400º F
Ingredients to make 8 biscuits:
1 c biscuit mix
1 large egg
1/3 c milk or buttermilk
3 T shortening
Pour biscuit mix in large bowl. Cut in shortening
with pastry blender until crumbly. Stir in egg, milk until ball
forms.
Pat out mixture onto rice floured surface to
approximately 3/4" thick. Cut into round biscuit shapes. Place onto greased cookie sheet
Bake for 12-15 minutes or til lightly browned. Serve warm
For drop biscuits: Drop by heaping tablespoonful on
greased cookie sheet and bake 12-15 minutes til lightly browned.
