This yogurt coatings is excellent for melting and molding into your favorite candy
shapes. This works well in producing yogurt-coated pretzels, peanuts
and candy centers. They are the perfect substitute when coating
doggie biscuits.
Melt this Yogurt coating as you would chocolate
(either in a double boiler over water or in the microwave). If you
find them not "liquid" enough, add some paramount crystals (up
to 1/4 cup per lb.) to thin them.
You can color the yogurt coating using paste food
coloring in the melted coating.NOTE:
We have two suppliers of yogurt coating. One supplies chips; the
other, block. Both forms of yogurt coating have the same
formula.
We prefer carrying the chips;
however, occasionally, our chip supplier is stock out. When that
occurs, we will substitute the block for the chip, unless you note on your
order that you want chips only or block only in the comments
section.
Please be aware when specifying a
certain form of coating, your shipment may be delayed as much as two
months. During certain seasons, orders become
extraordinarily heavy and deplete stocks before the normally scheduled
order period. The suppliers are required to order a
minimum 7,000 lbs from the manufacturer. And if depleted
earlier than planned, there will be a delay in receiving stock.
