Cannellini beans are the traditional white kidney beans used in Italian
cooking. It has a smooth texture and nutty flavor.
ITALIAN BEANS AND PASTA:
1 lb Cannellini
beans, cooked *
8 oz elbow macaroni, cooked *
3/4 lb sausage
1 clove garlic minced
1 onion chopped
4 c. canned tomatoes, un-drained
1/4 c sorghum*
2 T chopped parsley*
2 t sea salt*
2 t. dried oregano*
1/4 t. pepper*
Brown sausage, garlic, and onions in skillet .
Drain fat and add macaroni and sausage to beans.
Bring to boil, cover and simmer 15 min.
Serve in bowls with
fresh bread and salad.
