Melting caramel in
a microwave is easy.
Just place the caramel in a dish.
Cook on
high for 1 minute. Stir.
Cook on 50% power for 1 minute and
stir again.
Repeat at 50% power until thoroughly melted, being
careful to avoid scorching.
To thicken caramel, add 1/2 -1 oz of
confectioners sugar to 1 lb caramel.
For storage of caramel, keep in cool, dry
location. DO NOT REFRIGERATE.
