Organic quick oats are a faster
version of your favorite oatmeal.
Not pre-cooked but rolled thinner
than Regular Rolled Oats, these Quick Rolled oats are the preferred oats
to use in cookies and other baked goods.
Recipe:
OATMEAL
CRACKERS
1 C Potato Water (Water left from
boiling potatoes)
½ C Vegetable oil
1 t Kelp Powder
4 C Quick Rolled Oats
3 T Caraway Seeds
Mix first 4 ingredients together into
a stiff dough. Chill in the refrigerator for 1-2 hours.
Lightly flour board and roll dough out very thin. Sprinkle with
caraway seeds and roll seeds into dough.
Transfer dough to oiled cookie sheet
and cut into squares. Prick each square with fork. Bake at
350°F for about 20 minutes. Makes about 3 dozen crackers.
