Instructions for Preparation
Add one heaping tablespoon
broth powder to 6 oz. boiling water.
Simmer 1 to 2 minutes and serve.
Powder is an excellent base flavoring for your favorite soup or stew.
Totally vegan, it creates a fantastic broth with just 1 teaspoon of
powder per cup of boiling water. |
Use this broth powder
whenever the stronger flavors of beef or chicken would be too overpowering
in a soup or casserole. Use to flavor your rice or pasta, just add
it too your cooking water.
1 c long grain brown rice
5 c. water
1 1/2 t. vegetable broth powder
1/4 c. vegetable soup blend
salt & pepper to taste
Place all ingredients, except salt &
pepper in pan.
Bring to boil. Reduce heat to simmer.
Cover and simmer 40-50 min or til rice is done.
