Oat groats is the term associated with whole grains of oats having had the outer hull removed.  It still contains all the nutrients associated with oats, the germ and the bran.
     
Oats can be used in any of your favorite rice recipes for a unique taste sensation.

RECIPE

ORIENTAL OATS:

1/2 c. sliced celery
1/2 c. julienned carrots 
1/2 c. snow peas 
1 T. vegetable oil 
3 1/2 c. cooked oats
1 T. Soy sauce or Tamari
1/2 c. bean sprouts

Saute vegetables in oil for 5 min. 

Add oats, soy sauce and bean sprouts. 

Stir together and heat through. 

Serve hot.
