Mace is frequently added to pound cakes, doughnuts,
stuffing, Swedish meatballs, sweet potato pie, oyster stew and
barbeque sauces. Mace can be used with lamb and sausages.
Mace is used for soups and sauces and is often used in wine mulling mixtures.
Mace adds flavor to carrots, cauliflower, squash, Swiss chard,
spinach and potatoes.
