About Tahini
Tahini is the equivalent
of peanut butter made from crushed sesame seeds.
Tahini can be used as a sandwich spread or mixed
with other seasonings like Garlic or Cayenne pepper for a zesty dip
or salad dressing.
Tahini is the main ingredient in humus, the
traditional Middle Eastern chickpea spread.
RECIPE
TAHINI YOGURT SALAD DRESSING
2 T vinegar
1 crushed garlic clove
2 T Tahini
Juice of 1/2 lemon
salt & pepper to taste
2/3 c plain yogurt
Combine first 4 ingredients. Mix in
Yogurt and taste. Adjust seasoning.
