This is a pickled vegetable mix
that we get asked more questions about than any other at our farm
market. It has many different names depending upon which part of the
country that you are from. Two of the other names for this mix are;
piccalilli or chowchow.
All of the Barry Farm pickles use
the freshest possible ingredients and are hand packed just like Grandma
used to do. The spices used go into the jar not into a vat of brine
and you'll actually see a bud of garlic or a sprig of fresh Dill or the
little hot pepper or a slice of horseradish root in each jar. We use
real slices of sweet onion in the mustard pickles and the bread and butter
pickles instead of onion powder. Barry Farm never uses food
colorings, preservatives, flavor and texture enhancers and some recipes
are made with NO salt.
Made according to many old and cherished
recipes, we think you will find that Barry Farm pickles and pickled
vegetables are some of the best you can find on the market.
And if you or someone that you know is
allergic to or just can't have cucumbers, we even make nearly all of our
pickles and relishes with Zucchini squash also so that they can enjoy
pickles once again. You really can't hardly tell the difference. | NutritionFacts Serving size: 2 oz. | | Amount per serving | | | | % Daily Value * | | | | | | | | | Percent values are based on a 2,000 calorie per day diet.
