Barry Farm Apple Pie Filling is
made with whole apple slices and its juice. You can see an abundance of
fruit in every jar.
What says "home"
more than the smell of apple pie baking in the oven. And what better
way to end a meal than a slice of hot apple pie with ice cream on
top.
Just put the contents of the jar in your favorite
crust. Top with a second crust. Seal. and bake at 350º F for
50-60 min until the crust is golden and flaky.
There is enough filling in each jar to fill an
8" pie abundantly, a 9" pie shell full, or to do 5-6 tarts.
Makes a great apple cobbler or apple crisp...just add topping. Or, use it on top
your favorite cheesecake, "torte" or ice cream.
