Blackberry Pie
Filling is made with whole blackberries and its juice. You can see an
abundance of fruit in every jar.
Remember going berry-picking with Grandma and
coming home with stained fingers and just enough berries for her to make
you a pie. Well you can revisit those memories easily with your own
blackberry pie.
Just put the contents of the jar in your favorite
crust. Top with a second crust. Seal. and bake at 350º F for
50-60 min until the crust is golden and flaky.
There is enough filling in each jar to fill an
8" pie abundantly, a 9" pie shell full, or to do 5-6
tarts. Makes a great cobbler or crisp...just add topping. Or,
use it on top your favorite cheesecake, "torte" or ice
cream.
