Barry Farm Black Raspberry Pie Filling is made
with whole fruit and its juice. You can see an abundance of fruit in
every jar.
Black Raspberries are
becoming harder and harder to locate but we are still able to find
some. We will continue to produce this pie filling as long as we can
get the berries. If you have never tried black raspberries, you need
to try this pie filling; it is not the same as the red variety.
Just put the contents of the jar in your favorite
crust. Top with a second crust. Seal. and bake at 350º F for
50-60 min until the crust is golden and flaky.
There is enough filling in each jar to fill an
8" pie abundantly, a 9" pie shell full, or to do 5-6 tarts.
Makes a great cobbler or crisp...just add topping. Or, use it on top
your favorite cheesecake, "torte" or ice cream.
