Cherry Pie Filling is
made with whole fruit and its juice. You can see an abundance of
fruit in every jar.
Made with tart red cherries, this pie filling
will make a pie even Martha would be proud to serve to George. This
cherry pie won't last long on any table.
Just put the contents of the jar in your favorite
crust. Top with a second crust. Seal. and bake at 350º F for
50-60 min until the crust is golden and flaky.
There is enough filling in each jar to fill an
8" pie abundantly, a 9" pie shell full, or to do 5-6 tarts.
Makes a great cobbler or crisp...just add topping. Or, use it on top
your favorite cheesecake, "torte" or ice cream.
