tart. We have found that our customers either love them or
hate them. There seems to be no in between.
So..are you a
gooseberry lover, then this is the pie for you.
Just put the contents of the jar in your favorite
crust. Top with a second crust. Seal. and bake at 350º F for
50-60 min until the crust is golden and flaky.
There is enough filling in each jar to fill an
8" pie abundantly, a 9" pie shell full, or to do 5-6 tarts.
Makes a great cobbler or crisp...just add topping. Or, use it on top
your favorite cheesecake, "torte" or ice cream.
