List of Ingredients
Senna Leaf
Instructions for Preparation
To use as a tea, pour 1 cup boiling water
over 1 teaspoon of herb, cover and steep
for 3 to 5 minutes.

| Senna tea is bitter
tasting herbal laxative tea for use in relieving occasional constipation.
Senna generally produces bowel movements in six to twelve hours.
Because of its stool-softening
action, Senna is especially useful for people with hemorrhoids or anal
fissures. It's also recommended following rectal surgery, and can be used
to cleanse the bowel prior to diagnostic procedures.
Today Senna is one of the
more widely used laxatives. It's the active ingredient in such products as
Senokot, Fletcher's Castoria, and Ex-Lax Gentle Nature. | NutritionFacts
